ROOKERY HALL // CLAIRE & DAN

“Megan you’re incredible at what you do, full of energy & fun. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything else from you before, during or after our special day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Rookery Hall is the perfect wedding venue because it effortlessly blends historic charm with modern luxury, offering stunning backdrops. From its grand Georgian architecture to its beautifully manicured gardens, it creates timeless memories.

Claire got ready upstairs in one of the suites where she popped some bubbly and did Baby Guinness shots with the girls. One of my favourite moments of the day came just before the ceremony: a first look with her dad and stepdad. Both bursting with pride, they gave each other a big hug and welled up as they looked at their girl.

The ceremony in the Worleston Suite was beautiful. Their little girl wanted to join in and stayed close to Claire throughout. Afterwards, we stepped out into the gardens for portraits, letting the setting do the work. The real magic of the day happened on the staircase. All we needed were five quiet minutes and some dramatic light using off-camera flash.

After the main course was served, a singing waiter surprised all of the guests with a performance that got them up and dancing. When the sun went down, we lit sparklers outside and Claire joined her bridesmaids as the bar for a round of baby Guinness shots.

If you’re planning an elegant Rookery Hall wedding and want your photographs that make the most of this stunning venue, I’d love to tell your story.
