RAINHILL HALL // JASMINE & MARTIN
“Honestly, it was like having one of our best friends taking the photos for us. Our family and friends couldn’t stop telling us how lovely and professional she is.”
A few weeks ago, I got a message from Jasmine. She and Martin had decided to bring the wedding forward. Her mum, Angie, has been very unwell and after months of planning the wedding together, it became clear that time was precious.
Rainhill Hall made for a stunning setting, with its grand old architecture and peaceful grounds but what stood out most that day wasn’t the venue. It was actually how everyone gathered round Jas, Martin & Angie to both support and celebrate them.
Before the ceremony, we popped in to see Angie. Jas was dressed and ready, looking beautiful in her wedding dress. As soon as Angie saw her in her gown, her whole face lit up. There aren’t really words for that kind of moment. Just pure, quiet emotion. I think we all felt lucky to witness it.
It was then time for the ceremony which was intimate and heartfelt. We were surrounded by trees and could hear the birds chirping as Jas and Martin said their vows. Angie joined us via video call.
After the ceremony, we went for a wander around the gardens and as it was golden hour, the light was spectacular. When the sun disappeared, we ventured out again for a quick twilight session, making the most of a truly special celebration.
Jas & Martin, thank you for trusting me to capture your beautiful day.
