PORTFOLIO

Beautiful Portraits

Portraits are the more intentional photos and include family groups, the wedding party and your couples session. They’re a chance to escape the hustle of the day for a little breather and some time together. They’re relaxed, natural and a chance to capture who you are as a couple.

It’s not about stiff posing. it’s about creating space for genuine moments. Generally, I’ll tell you to look at one another and then try to make you laugh. Couples and family members tend to get these photos printed and look back on them for years.

Real Moments

During your wedding day, most of the photos I take will be candid as I quietly document the day as it naturally unfolds. These are about capturing the real, unscripted moments of your day. They’re the little glances, big laughs, happy tears and everything else that happens. Rather than posing or looking at the camera, you’ll be living in the moment.

The Tiny Details

A wedding contains dozens of details may seem tiny but when you put them together, they create a big impact and make your day unique.

When planning my own wedding, each detail was an important decision that had to be carefully considered. I absolutely appreciate how these little touches are full of meaning and deserve to be remembered just as much as the big moments.

The Flat Lay

I’m a little magpie who loves shiny things, so I include flat lays within all of my full day packages. I appreciate that you’ve probably spent a considerable amount of time when choosing your precious items for your big day and they deserve to be documented properly.

A few months ago, I got fed up with trying to find nice flooring as the background. So, I decided to take a more considered approach when capturing them & put together a lovely little flat lay kit. It contains nude or coloured backgrounds (be gone manky flooring) and some items that elevate the image such as chiffon ribbon, wax seals to accompany invitations, ring boxes & dried blooms.

Armed with my kit, I arrive 30/40 mins earlier than I usually would to dedicate the time to your details. It also gives everyone in prep a chance to warm up to the idea of having a photographer in the room, before I start pointing a camera at your lovely faces.
