An Autumnal Family Session at Lymm Dam

Capturing Charlotte and Simon’s family photo shoot at Lymm Dam was such a lovely experience. Their two little ones brought so much energy and fun to the session which meant it was easy for me to capture lots of energy and excitement.

Lymm Dam, nestled in the heart of Cheshire, is a fantastic location for a family shoot. With its serene woodland trails, shimmering water, and picturesque bridges, it offers a perfect mix of backdrops.
We were lucky to be there when the leaves had turned into the most beautiful shades of orange, gold, and red.

Charlotte and Simon wanted a relaxed, natural feel to their photos, so we spent time exploring different areas of the dam, making the most of the golden autumn light filtering through the trees.

This session was a great reminder of why I love family photography so much. It’s all about capturing those little in-between moments, the giggles, the cuddles, and the joy of just being together. Lymm Dam was the perfect setting for this, and I couldn’t have asked for a better family to photograph.
